Where your support goes

The gifts you and your team make to the Walk at Westchester will ensure that our neighbors battling cancer have access to cutting-edge treatments, promising clinical trials and free wellness services close to home. With your help, we can support two important programs:

• The Bruce and Andrea Yablon Cancer Health and Wellness Program at Northern Westchester Hospital provides thousands of patients free access to health coaches, registered dieticians, exercise programs, individual and group counseling as well as integrative medicine, including acupuncture and reflexology.   
• The Northwell Health Cancer Institute at Phelps Hospital gives patients easy access to a broad range of specialized treatments and cancer specialists in surgical oncology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, interventional radiology and diagnostic radiology. The institute provides opportunities for patients to participate in innovative research studies, including early-stage clinical trials available through Northwell Health’s strategic affiliation with Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and its world-renowned cancer researchers.

DAY OF EVENT

The Northwell Health Walk at Westchester is a day to come together with your family, friends, colleagues and children to celebrate and support the health and wellness of our entire community.

Following opening ceremonies at 10:00 am, we will kick-off the 2-mile Walk.
